Hair accessories have always been a vital part of my wardrobe. At times my relationship with hair accessories has been very love/hate, because as much as I love hats they don't always suit my face shape and some barely fit over my head (isn't it annoying?). I thought I would share with a few of my must-have hair accessories for Winter and for Summer (for my lovely northern hemisphere readers).

Singing in the rain!

Beret's are a winter must- have, they are a salute to the parisian way of life and vividly remind me of my favourite childhood cartoon Madeline. Whether adorned with bows or the latest stud trend, every girl needs a beret in her closet. Qui qui!

Grab your walking stick and fake moustache as we explore our inner Charlie Chaplin and say YES to Bowler Hats. I adore bowler hats, they should be worn towards the back of the head. If you are having trouble keeping it on your head, be sure to use bobby pins to secure in place during those windy winter nights!

Beanies have been around since I was a child, they are wonderful and versatile and most importantly fit almost every head. Be sure to find a beanie that fits your personality! I love beanies with pom poms because they remind me of running around in the snow as a child.

Summer Lovin'

While cruising the beaches during the summer, nothing screams summer more than a Fedora. I love these straw creations, they are great for protecting you in the sun and also are a great cover for your face while having a snooze on the beach (but always remember the sun screen!).

Taking a page out of Blair Waldolf's book, headbands are a summer nights must have. We all know hair doesn't like to behave during the heat, so throw on a pretty headband to say no to fly aways and yes to dancing the night away!

Oh my internal Jackie O and Grace Kelly loves scarves. Tie them into a headband or tie them under your chin like the Queen mother and throw on a pair of oversized sunglasses and you're ready to say HELLO to your internal hollywood starlet.
